| Children's Liturgy of the Word |

The Children’s Liturgy Word is a parish team that shares the Sunday readings with children during the 11:00AM and 1:00PM at a level they can better understand. Masses and provides supervision for children at the Sunday Liturgy. |

| Altar Servers |

| |
Boys and girls, from 5th grade through high school, are given the opportunity to serve at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days and assist at weddings celebrated in the parish. Servers who attend St. Joseph School also assist at weekday funerals. Servers are assigned approximately twice a month and allowances are made for their family schedules and other weekend commitments. Training is provided. |

| Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) |

The RCIC process involves older children (six years and older) who seek full initiation into our Catholic faith. Weekly meetings are held supporting, informing and praying with those seeking the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) celebrated at the Easter Vigil. |

| Cub Scout Religious Awards Program |

This program fosters a deeper knowledge of our faith by encouraging cub Scouts to participate in service projects, trips to shrines, and various activities on the family and parish level. The program takes 6 months to 1 1/2 years depending on the age of the scout and the particular award for which she is working. |

| Junior Lectors |

Boys and girls, from 8th grade through high school, have the opportunity to proclaim the Readings from Scripture at the Sunday 9:00 AM Family Liturgy and other special liturgies. Junior Lectors are assigned to each Family Liturgy. Training is provided. |
